Susan DeWitt Christ is an Air Force Veteran, with over 15 years of experience in economic development focusing on veteran and military spouse employment and training. As a Diversity and Inclusion Consultant with Oracle, she program manages the Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP), which provides veteran and military spouse candidates the opportunity to transition into the corporate culture at Oracle from military or military family life. Susan spent over five years as part of the US Department of Defense’s Military Spouse Employment Partnership, where she advocated for military spouse employment with over 500 partner employers in the program. She was instrumental in the launch of the Veterans Economic Communities Initiative with the US Department of Veterans Affairs, managing the program in Seattle, Nashville, Tampa and Pittsburgh. She has also served as a Community Development Specialist with Microsoft, and as a Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist with the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation in US Department of Labor programs. Susan’s post-military career began in Talent Acquisition with a technology company in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Management/Human Resources and graduate education in Instructional Design and Adult Learning.
