Susan and Gary live in Albany, NY with their daughters Megan (16) and Ginger (14), three bernedoodle dogs, and four chickens.
Susan is passionate about supporting military spouses and families and understands the crucial role of a support system, having experienced her husband’s seven deployments.

Susan is an experienced financial counselor, teacher, entrepreneur, and Senior Key Spouse adept at assisting families in navigating the complexities of money management and military transitions. She delighted in providing financial guidance to transitioning service members and their families as a Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Financial Counselor at West Point, NY, and Joint Base Myer – Henderson Hall in Alexandria, VA.

Susan enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, waterskiing, renovating homes with her husband, and playing mahjong with her friends.

Susan is the 6th child of a close-knit Texas family. She graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a BA in Economics and Psychology. She completed her personal financial planning certification through the Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education, AFCPE.
