Robert Opp

Rob Opp was a member of the Army Reserves from 2010-2020, leaving at the rank of Captain. During this time, he was an Ordnance officer, then transitioned to Information Operations. He was deployed to Bagram, Afghanistan in 2013, and Jordan in 2018 where he trained Jordanian Marines on U.S. Intelligence strategies. Prior to TD, he worked for the Washington Nationals, MLB Network, and MLB where he held different positions ranging from Retail Manager to Production Manager and transitioned to a Program Facilitator. As the Program Facilitator, he created a program supporting Veterans who wanted to start a career in sports, which was sponsored by Major League Baseball. It was then he realized his true passion of supporting the military community, which led him to TD and his current role as a Sourcer – Veterans and IwDA.

During his time with TD Bank, Rob has partnered with numerous non-profits and Veteran service organizations to increase talent acquisition support. That includes recruitment, resume and interview support, as well as providing volunteer opportunities for TD Colleagues.

Rob lives in Coopersburg, PA with his wife Emily, daughters Olivia and Evelyn, and dog Brutus.
