Peter Fehnel

Peter Fehnel, Deputy District Director, New York District Office, brings over 20 years of leadership experience from the public and private sectors to his role as the deputy director. Mr. Fehnel has also served with the SBA in the Northern Ohio, Cleveland District Office as the Deputy District Director, in the New York District Office he has served as the Assistant District Director of Economic Development / Supervisory Economic Development Specialist and the Long Island Branch Manager. Before joining the federal government, Mr. Fehnel was the President of a Small Business where he grew company revenues by 5 times. Prior, he served in the United States Army in the field of military intelligence, working on intelligence projects for the National Command Authority, the J2 of the Joint Chiefs, along with Presidential directives. Mr. Fehnel has also lived overseas in the Republic of Panama, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Turkey. Mr. Fehnel has a Master of Business Administration Degree in International Business and minors in Economics and History.
