Nathaniel “Nate” Lowrey is a Business Manager within the Chief Executive Office at Barclays US Consumer Bank. Based in Wilmington, Delaware, he partners closely with senior leaders across the bank to drive governance, risk, compliance, and strategic execution across complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.

In his role, Nate is responsible for coordinating cross‑functional programs that support regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and business transformation. His work frequently sits at the intersection of governance and execution discipline—ensuring that strategic initiatives are well‑controlled, clearly documented, and aligned to regulatory and enterprise expectations.

Nate brings a strong leadership foundation shaped by 20 years of service in the United States Air Force, where he developed deep experience in operational leadership, mentoring, and mission execution. Since transitioning to the financial services industry, he has continued to champion leadership development and inclusion, serving as a trusted mentor to transitioning service members and actively supporting veteran and military‑spouse initiatives within Barclays and the broader community.

He also serves as Director of Partnerships on the Board of Directors at the Leader Transition Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans and military spouses navigate successful transitions to civilian careers. In this capacity, Nate contributes strategic guidance, mentorship, and advocacy focused on professional development and long‑term career sustainability.
