Nate Smith

Nathaniel “Nate” Smith is the Lead Recruiter for Campus and Military Programs at Fiserv. In this role, he is responsible for assisting military veterans, spouses, and currently serving Guardsman and Reservists in finding their opportunity within the firm. He also assists in educating business leaders on the value that military affiliated associates bring to the business, while aiding service members in translating their military experiences into a corporate opportunity.

Nate began his career with First Data in 2015 as a Talent Sourcing Specialist and then moved into an Operations role later that year. He soon became a Manager of Operations for then First Data’s Hardware Services, where he oversaw the order management process for North America. Nate returned to Talent Acquisition in 2020 as a Sr. Recruiter and moved into his current position in 2021.

Master Sergeant Smith is a 20-year veteran of the Georgia Army National Guard, currently serving as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Military Police Operations for the 648th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade. He has deployed in support of contingency operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Poland. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Georgia and a master’s in business administration from the University of Georgia. Nate currently resides in Woodstock, Ga with his wife Marcie and their two children Elijah and Hadley
