Matt Easley is a Project Manager for the Talent Acquisition team in Spectrum’s Customer Operations business unit. The team manages hiring for over 18,000 positions in 15 states for roles as diverse as call center agents to senior directors. As a project manager, Matt directs HR programs from hiring veterans through Hiring Our Heroes to identifying early career talent through the college internship program to fostering ability within the company through talent development programs. He is involved in every aspect of the talent acquisition process, including attending veterans’ hiring events up to briefing senior leaders in the company on the benefits of hiring veterans.

Before coming to Spectrum, Matt spent 20 years in the Army, culminating as a helicopter pilot, instructor, and observer, coach, trainer. As part of his transition from the military, Matt participated in Hiring Our Heroes as a corporate fellow, coming to Spectrum through HOH before starting full-time employment upon retirement. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Vanderbilt University, a Master of Military Art and Science from the Army’s Command and General Staff College, and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma. He holds a Project Management Professional certificate from the Project Management Institute and continues to develop his knowledge and skills in Human Relations through eCornell’s certificate programs.
