Lucie Piper, LMSW is a military-connected workforce and reintegration specialist with over 15 years of experience designing programs and building systems that help service members, veterans, and their families not just navigate transition, but truly thrive. As a USMC veteran spouse and caregiver who previously lived the active duty military spouse experience firsthand, Lucie brings both personal and professional depth to this work. Currently serving as Career Counselor and Employer Relations Manager at the Center for Military-Affiliated Students at The New School, she applies a trauma-informed, family systems lens to everything she does, from one-on-one counseling with military-connected students to advising institutional leadership on structural barriers to veteran and spouse success. Her career has spanned installation support at Camp Pendleton, nonprofit leadership with organizations like the Military Spouse Advocacy Network and American Corporate Partners, and DoD-aligned workforce initiatives, grounding her work in a deep understanding of the full military life cycle. A Licensed Master Social Worker and PhD candidate in Integrative Social Work, Lucie is deeply passionate about military spouse career mobility and building the sustainable employer pathways that make long-term economic stability possible.
