John Lowry

John Lowry is a former Assistant Secretary of Labor and was responsible for the Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS). He is a Marine Corps veteran who led a Force Recon platoon during the 1991 Gulf War and retired from the Marine Corps Reserve with the rank of colonel. In his business career, John held manufacturing leadership positions at Harley-Davidson, was the COO of Allied Recreation Group and led the US Supply Chain and Operations practice for Egon Zehnder. Recently retired from Egon Zehnder, John currently sits on the boards of YMX Logistics and The Whiskey Project Group. John holds degrees from Princeton, Stanford, Harvard Business School and the US Army War College.
