Hector Rivera is a proud United States Army Veteran with over 20 years of dedicated service. Throughout his military career, he held a variety of leadership roles, beginning as a telecommunications operator and later transitioning into communications maintenance, administrative support, and military recruiting. As a recruiter, Hector developed a deep passion for guiding civilians and returning service members into the military, consistently exceeding recruitment goals and advancing to senior leadership positions, including MEPS Guidance Counselor and NCOIC for the Hudson Valley Team.

Following his military service, Hector earned a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity with honors from Mercy College while working as a Veterans Admissions Counselor, assisting fellow veterans in their transition to higher education. He went on to hold several recruiting and career development roles, helping veterans and their families secure meaningful employment in industries such as healthcare and communications.

Currently, Hector serves as a Career Transition Specialist with the Wounded Warrior Project, where he coaches and mentors veterans in navigating career opportunities. Passionate about leadership and professional development.

In his free time, Hector enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, traveling, and engaging in challenging activities. His mission is to continue supporting organizations that provide guidance and assistance to the veteran community.
