Deb Kloeppel is Founder & President, VetJobs (Emeritus) & Founder and President, Military Spouse Jobs, which together, has placed more than 150,000 transitioning service members, veterans, & military spouses into civilian jobs over the last decade.
From Deb Kloeppel: “Due to my husband’s active duty recalls, our moves were both OCONUS and CONUS, I made the decision to leave my roles as a Senior Executive of Inflight Operations at American Airlines & later as a Senior Executive of HR in a major healthcare corporation, Concentra Health. Over 8 yrs, we moved to 8 locations for various commands.

Being a Flag Officer Spouse afforded me many opportunities to adapt and grow both professionally and personally. Recognizing the potential of military spouses as a powerful workforce in 2004, I founded the first military spouse job-placement program within a nonprofit setting.

In 2005, our nonprofit became the first to develop advanced applicant tracking technology with Brass Ring Corporation, tracking military spouse applicants from resume submission to job placement and career progression. In 2010, we created VetJobs, & The National Guard Employment Network. Our services are lifelong for Military Spouses and Veterans. We are notable for maintaining a cost per hire of $550 for both Veterans and Military Spouses. Our expertise includes technology, capacity-building, and managing strict budget constraints. Cost-saving budgets, work efficiencies, and team production are areas of my expertise”.

Deb is a published writer, long-time entrepreneur, keynote speaker, savvy business woman, nurse, and military family activist. She writes and speaks about career destiny, how to earn a lifelong income. military family strength, what employers want, and military job seekers’ struggles in the corporate workforce.

Prior to establishing the charities, Deb built an executive corporate career and founded and maintained a graphics art and sporting goods retail store for thirteen years, in southern Illinois.
