Dana Deason

Dana M. Deason, PHR, SHRM-CP, channels her passion for helping others through the various human resources related roles she has held throughout her 18-year career in the transportation industry. Holding leadership positions on compliance, safety and security and inclusion teams, Deason currently oversees J.B. Hunt Transport Inc.’s affirmative action program and serves as President of the DirectEmployers Association Board of Directors. As a former Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer for over ten years and current volunteer at Tulsa Animal Welfare, she strives to support her community. While her heart is in the human resources and advocacy space, Deason is a licensed private investigator and is trained to conduct a variety of investigations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, using her Babbel subscription to learn new languages and telling cheesy jokes.
