Leader Transition Institute
Annie S. Brock is the Founder, President, and CEO of the Leader Transition Institute (LTI), a leadership development organization that partners with employers to strengthen mentorship strategies, leadership pipelines, and long-term workforce retention. Through LTI, Annie helps organizations translate military leadership experience into sustained engagement—particularly for veteran, military-connected, and other high-performing talent navigating career transitions.
Annie brings a career shaped by operational leadership, accountability, and adaptability. She began her service in the 82nd Airborne Division, where she was among the first 100 women assigned to the Division and later qualified as a Jumpmaster, earning the Senior Parachutist Badge. She went on to receive a direct commission in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps, completed flight school, and served as a medical evacuation helicopter pilot, flying both Huey and Black Hawk aircraft. Those experiences shaped her belief that strong mentorship and leadership development are essential to helping people grow, adapt, and stay committed through demanding transitions.
Since founding LTI, Annie has led more than 70 interactive cohorts across 43 states and 10 countries, supplementing national transition and professional development programs with practical, purpose-driven training. Her work focuses on the critical connection between onboarding, mentorship, and retention—helping organizations move beyond short-term engagement toward long-term commitment and performance.
A certified Human Behavior Consultant and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Annie holds a Master of Professional Studies in Public Leadership from The George Washington University and is a recipient of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Public Service Award.
