Angie Hood is an active-duty Marine Corps spouse who is currently serving as Manager of Events and Engagement at Hiring Our Heroes. Angie leads the 4+1 Commitment: The Formula for Military Spouse Success, a shared initiative with Blue Star Families that recognizes and encourages businesses to adopt Military Spouse friendly employment policies. Prior to joining HOH, Angie worked as a corporate recruiter focusing on Military Spouse and Veteran hiring.
Angie grew up in Knoxville, TN where she attended the University of Tennessee. Angie is a mother of two teenage girls and considers this her greatest achievement. In her free time, you will find Angie lifting weights, swimming, biking and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers.
