Alec Mizner is the Manager of Military Recruiting at Werner Enterprises, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry. He leads Werner’s commitment to helping heroes launch careers by establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with organizations, installations and units around the country. In his role, Alec is committed to ensuring that every veteran and military spouse who joins Werner receives the support and resources they need to thrive in their new career.

He has been instrumental in developing and growing Werner’s Skillbridge program and implementing strategy to help reduce unemployment/underemployment in the National Guard and Reserve. He currently serves as Chair of the EANGUS Corporate Advisory Panel and on Werner’s Veteran Resource Group steering committee.

Alec served in the United States Marine Corps as the Drill Master of the prestigious Silent Drill Platoon, the most visible unit within the Marine Corps. The platoon conducts a 10-month travel and parade season, performing for hundreds of thousands of spectators here and abroad each year.

Alec holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Leadership from Grace University and has an Executive MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Alec currently lives in Omaha, NE with his wife Angela and their two sons.
